General Information
We have two kinds of tours: Big Bore and Standard. The
difference is the machines we ride. On the standard tour, we ride Honda 250s, a
fun sporty entry-level machine. On the Big Bore tours we ride large, powerful,
500-800cc 4x4, screamers. Both are a lot of fun in our riding areas but of
course we can take on more challenging trails with the Big Bore machines. With
all tours we offer helmets, gloves, goggles and wet weather gear.
For multi-day tours we also have two lodging options, Motorhome based camping
with full catering by us, or motel-based touring where you stay in a Motel and
furnish your own breakfast and dinner each day. We have great fun with both
kinds of tours, and we will assist in identifying suitable Motels if you choose
to stay in them. We cannot offer a motel package due to our licensing
arrangement with the State.
Half Day tour:
You drive to our warehouse near Sultan on Hwy 2 to arrive by 12:30. We
fit you with helmets, goggles, gloves and optional wet weather gear and we load
into the transporter and drive 20 minutes to the trails. After unloading and a
short ATV orientation, we hit the trails. We will climb up the mountains, trail
through the forests and brave the extreme puddles before the tour ends.
One Day tour:
You meet us at the Office at 12421 Woods Lake Rd. If you pay in advance, we
can meet you at a local park and ride between 8 and 9 am. (For a small additional
fee, we will pick you up at your hotel.) You lock and leave your
car and we transport you to the riding area we have selected for your tour.
While you fit helmets, goggles and gloves and see if any of our loaner Motocross boots fit, we unload the ATVs and get them ready for the day's ride.
When everyone is geared up and ready to go, we conduct an orientation and short
riding instruction. After everyone has demonstrated control of their ATV, we
will depart for the trails. We will return to the motorhome for lunch and after
a rest period, may move to another riding area. The guides will keep a close eye
on your riding, and will call a halt to the riding before you get too tired and
possibly hurt yourself. You then change clothes if needed and we transport you
back to your vehicle. Many clients follow us to the riding area in their own
vehicle so they can depart straight from the riding area.
Multi-day tour:
A typical day starts with the staff fixing breakfast. Everyone rolls out of
the rack and breakfast is served around 8:00a. After a generous serving of
hotcakes and bacon, the last dregs of coffee are consumed and then it is time to
hit the trails. After a short pre-ride inspection, all the ATVs are fueled and
the group is ready to ride. The guide will explain the trails available and make
a selection based on the group's desires and demonstrated riding ability. Then
it is off to the dirt. Around 11:30, the guide will steer the group back to the motorhome for a generous lunch of cold cuts or perhaps chili. Then after a short
break to rest and stretch you legs, it is back in the saddle. The afternoon will
consist of several trail rides. Dinner is served around 7:00pm, and the more
adventurous will hit the trails again for a night ride. The evening is concluded
with a
campfire and perhaps a snack like Smores.
Appropriate ATV
ATVs with engine sizes of 90cc or greater are for use
