ATV Action Tours presents South Africa
ATV Tours.
Imagine yourself
quading along the endless grasslands of the Eastern Coast of South Africa. You
snap a picture, then throw your leg back over your ATV and gun off toward the
blood-red sunset, the warm air ruffling your riding jersey. It is Winter in
North America but Summer in South Africa. Can you even remember the cold, snow
or ice at home?
Or swing into the saddle of a DS1200 and roar down the winding, picturesque
roads of the Cape wine country, in route to the next bed and breakfast and
passing some of the nicest scenery in the world. Remember it is Summer in Africa
right now!
Ready to go? We can help.
ATV Action Tours has partnered with a superb ATV tour operator in South
Africa to be the only North American company to offer Quad bike and Side by Side tours in South
Africa. These tours
are first rate, everything but your bar bill, is included from the time your
flight touches down until you are back at the airport.
Get 10 of your friends together and you can book any of these tours as
private on the dates you want! Call for availability.
Classic Wild Coast Adventure Tour:
We continue to offer our classic 7 day ATV expedition along the Wild Coast.
Combine this with your own driving trip to Kruger National Park for an
unforgettable African adventure vacation.
New for 2009:
ON and Off Road Tour (ATVs and DS1200s).
This year we have taken our most popular tour and made it even better. We
have added a week of road bike riding from B&B to B&B on South Africa's Wine
Coast to our Classic Wild Coast Adventure's incredible week of off road ATVing.
Ranger Expeditions
(Mozambique or Angola)
Also new for 2009 are our exciting completely off road Ranger
Expeditions. This UTV adventure is for up to five pairs of people who want to
see the most remote parts of Africa. They start from Beira, Mozambique or Windhoek,
Namibia, and spend two weeks camping on virtually untouched plains. You will see
animals you didn't know existed. This is the tour for you if you want to really
see wild Africa and like camping out.

The tours
are small in size and can include both American and South African riders so you can
make some international friendships. Depending on the specific requests and
itinerary, you stay in resort
lodges or Safari camp in cabin tents. There is
limited ride-along seating, so if you have that special someone who wants to
participate but not ride an ATV, we can arrange it.
These are the finest exclusive small-group, everything-included, Motor
Sport
Adventures anywhere.
As an added bonus: South Africa is in the Southern
Hemisphere which means the seasons are opposite the North American seasons,
Summer is in Nov-Feb. Leave the snow in the US and ride in the summer in
Africa!!!!
Tour Administrative Stuff:
It takes two travel days from the US to Southern Africa. You depart on
Saturday to arrive on Sunday for these tours. The hotel Sunday night is
included in the tour. The tour starts from the hotel parking lot on Monday
morning.
